What exactly is NADH?
Nikotinamid-Adenin-Dinucleotid-Hydrid (NADH) or "Coenzym 1" is the provider of the life energy within the human body.
NADH is also called „biological hydrogen". It reacts within cells of the body with oxygen and though generates energy and water.
Today NADH mostly will be called "Coenzym 1". It is within every cell and catalyses more than 1000 metabolism processes. The more active a cell is, the more NADH it consumes. When transforming food into energy thousands of enzymes have the function to divide and crush nutrients. The most of those enzymes cannot make their work, if they had not this particular coenzym on their side. NADH is the most important of all coenzymes, therefore it is called Coenzym 1.
The body's own energy substance is the preliminary stage before the ATP (Adenosintriphosphat). This ATP uses the cell to produce essential components to ensure an optimum cell function. In addition to this, components of the cell nucleus, the mitochondria, the generating plant of the cells, and cell membranes. Cells needs ATP to survive for an undisturbed operation. The more ATP they have, the better do they function.
NADH increases the production within the cells and so it can help increase the vitality of cells, tissues and organs. During birth we are provided with a sufficient amount of NADH. NAD+ will be produced within the body either from nicotine acid (Niacin, Vitamin B3) and nicotinamide and from metabolite products from the amino acid Tryptophan. During life, the body cannot produce enough of this essential substance and has to draw it from our food.
When getting older an optimum provision cannot be provided from food. To make matters worth, NADH is a very sensible substance, which will be destroyed by gastric acid, when eaten. The chemical element NAD is from ruling significance for the digestion of fats, alcohol, carbohydrates and proteins. It is vital for the metabolism of humans.
If a sufficient amount of NADH is missing, it is followed by a reduced muscle performance and a decreasing function of the brain, heart diseases, neurological diseases like Alzheimer, Parkinson, and other degenerative diseases can occur. So since several years the substance of NAD is in the focus of scientists for protection against chronic diseases. It is only lately available for medical infusion therapy.
The Discovery of NADH
In the year 1906, NADH was found by British biochemists.
NADH - respectively - NAD - was first substantiated 1906 by Arthur Harden and William John Young in yeast. The substance was first described by Otto Warburg in the beginning of the 1930 years.
In the last 10 Years, NADH has increasingly become the subject of scientific and public interest, after discovering a connection with Sirtuins, which affects aging and cell death in the body. Sirtuins also have positive effects on inflammation and metabolic rates, as well as stress resistance.

NADH-Infusions effective in cancer therapy
Cancer cells show only an insufficient amount of mitochondria, which can result in a lack of ATP. This lack can cause a growth of malign tumors. In revers conclusion it does mean that the increase of ATP concentration can stop the uncontrolled cell proliferation of cancer cells.
Laboratory-supported studies have shown that the supply of NADH increases the ATP level within the cells. The supported amount does promote the creation of regulation molecules, they are necessary to stop the uncontrolled cell division. In the past years different groups of cancer patients are treated with Coenzym-1 therapy.
The best results could be achieved in prostrate, breast and lung cancer. The treatment with Coenzym-1 showed tumor regression, in some cases the patients even became free of tumors.
Treatment and Dosage of NADH
NADH will be dosed depending on the disease and the field of application. In the long-term treatment NADH will be taken normally as capsules. These are gastric acid resistant, biochemically maximally stable hydroxypropylmethylcellulose capsules. The effect unfolds in the intestine via the intestinal mucosa.
For our infusions we use body identical NADH produced after pharmaceutical purity and without unnecessary help substances and additives.
Before starting the treatment, a consultation with one of our doctors will take place. Depending on the disease we make an additional metabolism analysis before starting the first infusion.
Are there negative side effects taking NADH?
Until now there are no negative side effects known using NADH, as long the prescribed dosage will be taken.
Pharmacological interactions are not known.
